The new Fronius Datamanager 2.0 generation of monitoring hardware connects the inverter to the Internet either by Ethernet or Wireless Local Area Network and sends PV performance data directly to the Fronius Solar.web online portal. The Fronius Datamanager 2.0 features its own dedicated website for managing system and monitoring configurations. An exciting new feature is the mobile app commissioning wizard, which speeds up installation: you can now set up system monitoring using your smart phone or tablet! In addition, the integrated SunSpec Modbus RTU, SunSpec Modbus TCP and Fronius Solar API interfaces enable Fronius inverters to be integrated into third-party systems, but still run in parallel with Fronius Solar.web.

Datamanager 2.0 Box is a stand-alone version of the Fronius Datamanager, intended for the IG Plus inverters. The Datamanager is also available as a card that can be mounted inside the inverter. The Datamanager supports Wifi as well as a wired Ethernet connection. The Datamanager requires a COM-card inside the inverter (the IG Plus A comes with a COM-card, the IG Plus V does not).
