Eco-Lawn is a carefully selected mix of very hardy fescues and perennial rye seeds. Due to their wider and deeper root system they form a much more resilient lawn once established vs. a regular lawn. Much less water and fertilizer are needed. Once established an eco-lawn generally does not need any watering or fertilizing at all. It grows slower than regular lawn as well, and therefore does not need to be mowed quite as often. In fact, if you want to you do not have to mow at all! A never-mowed eco-lawn will be about 7 – 9″ tall and deep-green (we do recommend mowing once-a-year to prevent trees and shrubs from growing in).
